Check it out! I found this kit for $250.00 online. I don't have that kind of money to throw at a survival pod, so let's pick this one apart visually, and see if we can include these items in our RUMBLEpack. I can see, duck tape, hemostats, canteen, first aid kit (we'll have to expand this), rope, bug repellent, did I miss anything?

I found this link to a small, Altoids-tin survival kit.

I also noticed one of the comments said to make two kits, so you can use one to practice with. I think er may be onto something with that.

I like to think that even more important than stores of canned food and water are tools to replenish that supply. Water catchment, canning supplies...

And beef jerky (honey BBQ, please).

Basic tools... hatchet, mallet, knives, etc. And sunglasses... multiple pairs... because you know you will lose them and if its bright that will just suck. Not to mention no post-apocalyptic outfit is complete with sunglasses.

Alright folks. As of writing this there are three members including myself. So . . . thanks Owen and Grace for riding this crazy train! I'm going to be inviting more people to join, but I just want to get a little more content on here first. So, the homework is to get a ten item survival pod in a container. Take a picture of the items laid out for easy identification, and post the picture with a typed list of the items! Sounds simple, but is it?

PS Drinking Water should be stockpiled so don't include it in your ten item pod, but make sure you have at least one gallon of water for every three days you plan to be sweating profusely as you are helping society rebuild after TSHTF. (Run on sentence?)
